Help Out

So you are probably thinking to yourself: "Man I Love these guys, I love this idea, and I want to help them get famous, but what can I, a regular old non-celebrity do to help these crazy cats become stars?" Good question.  We’re still kind of working on that.  But here are a few of our ideas: 1. Tell Your Friends                     Word of mouth is the best kind of word, as the saying goes.  The more people you tell about this great website, the famouser we’ll get, and the closer we’ll get to our goal of 10,000 hits.  Here are a few suggestions of how to bring our website up in everyday conversation: The Straightforward Method:   "Hey, man theres a website you should really check out....its called famousfornothing.com" The ’Where Have You Been?’ Method: "Oh? You mean you haven’t seen famousfornothing.com yet?  where have YOU been?" The Subliminal Message Method: "I know, I know, its terrible, gas prices are skyrocketing FAMOUSFORNOTHING DOT COM yeah, the news is often sad.   (see how you can just slip it in there?) But don’t limit yourselves, be creative, try writing on the walls of bathroom stalls, "for a good time call famousfornothing.com"  Then put your friend’s phone number.  Two birds, one stone.  Bam! 2. Link Us           We would love it if you would put a link to our website on your website.  Or if you have a friend who has a website, maybe you could convince them to put a link to our website on their website.  Or maybe you really aren’t that close, after all. Here is a downloadable version of our banner for you to put up on your site if you like: otherwise a simple link with a flattering description of the site will be just fine.  Thanks for all the cool gifts. 3. Buy Something        Maybe if you wore a FamousForNothing T-shirt around, you wouldn’t even really have to talk to people about how freaking cool the site is, cause tehy’d see your T-shirt and go to the site on their own.  Or if you had a big poster of us in your room.  Sure it might be weird at first, but you’d get used to it and so would we.  We don’t have this merchadise for sale yet, but I really think we probably will in the near future.  So when we do.  Buy it...It will bring you wealth, power and women*! *not true.
